Mission

MAPart creates an environment for ‘sharing’ exciting and innovative creative ideas. Allowing time to familiarise and master the artistic techniques and build your own unique style.

MAPart’s ambition is to deliver an opportunity to open up your ‘creativity’. Be inspired. Offering yourself a moment to let your imagination run free and being true to yourself equals well-being.

MAPart uncovers your creative ‘endless potential’. Unfold your truest passion and purpose. Emphasise the strongest aspects in your art practice and express them aesthetically.

The Art Workshops/Programs

The programs provided to schools stimulate creativity, open up innovative ideas and offer competent skills that is valuable for anyones art practice or interest. They are fun, creative, engaging, highly skilful and educational.

Workshops in community are fun, creative, and develop art skills for personal and professional interest. They can also provide innovative projects and hobbies for home and family.

Artist in Residence Opportunities

Residencies are a great way for artists and students to engage deeply in art and expression. Artists can work flexibly and for a longer period of time, plus, students have the chance to discover and learn more with the artist.

Monika’s own practice is influential to student learning and growth. Her art practice explores the geometries in nature and is highly inspired by Land and Environmental Artists. This art practice and exploration incorporates Maths and Science with Art. Its an engaging process that distract students from thinking its a maths or science project and focuses on the development and collaboration.

Working with Artist Professionals

For communities, and especially schools, collaborating alongside art organisations and artist professionals create a positive impact. Involvement in these programs stimulate creative expression, encourage engagement skills and divergent thinking.

MOTIVES FOR MAPart

Monika’s motivation stems from a life-long passion of visual art, and so, her inspiration to share this with community. Monika specifically wants to provide supportive tutoring services because it is vital to prepare young adults for their future studies and career.

For her VCE studies Monika embarked on a most challenging journey due to the themes being addressed. She put her philosophical concepts into aesthetic expression. Monika’s teachers were very supportive, and memories like these is what inspired Monika to establish her business and to assist and support students through the difficult process of education.

Studying tertiary, Monika’s lecturers provided time to individually tutor, giving a thorough critical analysis, and advice on what to explore further. Through this, she learned a sense of communication and understanding of how to encourage further development, provide full understanding of the individual concepts, and make certain the project is on course.

These experiences and memories is where the business idea initially seeded. Monika wishes to provide the same inspiration and guidance to her students and youth artists.
